Tim Colovos, Lead Pastor

I love being pastor of Oakland Baptist Church! This place means so much to me. I have had the privilege of being in the ministry since 1989. I have served in several Churches throughout the Bowling Green area. When I was a college student, I had the opportunity to serve here at Oakland as their youth pastor for five years in the early 1990’s. It was then that God started to prepare me to serve as the lead pastor of this great church. God is faithful and has made my ministry dreams come true.

Speaking of dreams coming true, the Lord outdid himself when he allowed me to marry my beautiful wife. Ginger and I have been married since 1997 and are blessed to have a good looking little man named Zachary, and our beautiful little girl, Christina Faith. Ginger and I enjoy spending time together. Ginger loves to sing and take pictures. She is very talented in all of her hobbies. I love to fish and am an avid NFL fan. I have been cursed for many years by being a Minnesota Vikings fan. I love serving God through the ministry of Oakland Baptist Church. I am truly a blessed man.
